2001-2016

Azzy was adopted with Nero in 2002.  He was never as excited about fostering kittens as Nero was, but he was always patient with them.  Azzy was remarkably affectionate with people, and would always be the first one to the door to greet visitors.  Azzy became Dora's preferred snuggle buddy after Nero died, and the two of them together on the couch was a constant scene in our house for several years.

He had to put up with daily medications and regular subcutaneous fluids for several years, due to a combination of heart and kidney issues.  But he never lost his good nature or his patience through all of it.
