WILFORD

Wilford is a memorable character. He came to us at 8 years old, when his previous human was no longer able to care for him. He weighed 28 pounds when we got him - morbidly obese and having difficulty walking, unable to groom himself.

Wilford is one of the sweetest cats we've ever had to privilege to foster. He LOVES people, and when someone rubs his head or his belly he sounds like a diesel engine. You don't just hear it, you feel it.

We had some difficulty getting him to eat regularly at first, but he figured it out, and lost over a pound during his time with us.

Wilford also gained a bit of a fan club! He was profiled by a bunch of different websites, and we had three separate local news teams come to our house to meet him. Here are just a few examples...
