DORA, SHARUKH, AND KHAN

Our second foster experience. These three were rescued from a storm drain in Boston, and ended up in foster with us. All three got along with our two cats at the time (Nero and Azzy), but Dora was especially attached to Nero. Sharukh and Khan were adopted together.

The day we took them back to the shelter for spay/neuter surgery, we were still conflicted about whether we were going to adopt Dora. She stepped out of the carrier in the intake room, then darted straight at Jen and climbed up her legs and into her arms. We made our decision right there, and she became our first foster fail!
